We have been waiting for the opportunity to put this particular meeting on for a while now, and we are finally able to. Marcus Voss is going to be demonstrating how to design a skateboard—and will be bringing in a board that he has designed, so that we can see how the designs look printed up.
Marcus is also going to be able to give us advice about what the manufacturing process is like, from a designer’s point-of-view, so the session should prove really useful to those of you who may have wanted to have a go at this in the past, but perhaps did not know how to bring everything together.
We will be in E019 (in the Drama/Fashion building—past the Arts Bar. It is the first door on the left on the ground floor).
