Adobe have finally announced that Robert Slimbach has completed the Gauge typeface. For those of you who might not recognize the name, Gauge is the typeface used on the CS3/CS4 application icons/splashscreens, and the Creative Suite installers.

Since 2006, the font has been renamed Adobe Clean, and despite earlier indications that Adobe may choose to release the typeface, it is—for now at least—being kept in house. Feast your eyes, and learn more, at the Typblography blog…
