Lots of exciting stuff going on at the moment! Obviously there are no meetings at the moment, but — with the exhibition preparation out of the way — there will be time to put a lot of posts onto the site…
Adobe Photoshop Marketplace is a new website that Adobe set–up a few weeks ago, where anyone can publish information about solutions related to Photoshop software — hardware, software, training (books, videos, events), user groups, etc. Hopefully, by the time you read this, our user group will be listed on the Marketplace site.
As Adobe increasingly look to harness the wisdom of the vast community of Photoshop users (read John Nack’s thoughts about this, here and here), we will do our very best to contribute wherever we can — and that’s why we are letting people know about the group on the Photoshop Marketplace site, and via the Adobe Groups portal. It’s no good to anybody if no–one can find us…
This summer, we are planning on adding some tutorials to the site (relating to techniques covered in previous user group meetings); productivity actions; software and training reviews; and any links that we think you should be aware of (you can also check our Del.icio.us account).
